Departure early in the morning from Yerevan towards Areni

Khor Virap

From Yerevan, we will head to the Khor Virap Monastery — the place where Christianity was born. We will learn about its centuries-old history and enjoy the view of the biblical Mount Ararat.

Mudflow Dam, Areni Cave, Wine Tasting

We will see the unique Mudflow Dam, visit the ancient Areni cave. It is here that the oldest leather shoe in the world was found (about 5,500 years old). Did you know that the oldest winery was also found in Armenia? It is still a winemaking region, so we will definitely taste local wines.

Noravank Monastery

We will end our day in picturesque Noravank, where a medieval monastery is hidden in the red mountains. Our journey will end in Yerevan.
